These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Trick’s game development services and website.
1. Services
We provide game development services, including custom game development and prototyping, engine-specific development (Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot), porting between engines and platforms, multiplayer & networking, gameplay programming, and game AI & enemy behavior. The exact scope, deliverables, platforms and milestones of each project are agreed in writing before any work begins.
2. Scope & change requests
Each project is delivered against an agreed written scope. Work outside that scope — new features, additional platforms or significant design changes — is handled as a change request and may adjust the timeline and price. We will always confirm any such change with you before proceeding.
3. Quotations & payment
Prices are quoted per project and are valid for 30 days. Projects are typically split into milestones, and we issue a simplified (non-VAT) invoice for each milestone. We are not VAT-registered, therefore invoices state VAT at 0%. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice unless otherwise agreed.
4. Intellectual property & ownership
On full and final payment for a milestone or project, ownership of the source code and assets we create specifically for you transfers to you. We retain the right to reuse our own pre-existing tools, libraries and general know-how. Third-party assets, engines and licensed middleware remain subject to their own licenses.
5. Confidentiality
Your unreleased designs, builds and materials are treated as strictly confidential and shared only with the people working on your project. We are happy to sign an NDA before discussing details.
6. Deliverables
Each project concludes with the agreed deliverables — typically a playable or shipping build together with the project source and assets. Revisions are included as defined in your project agreement.
7. Liability
We deliver our work with professional care, but software development carries inherent risk. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific project or milestone giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or store rejections.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
